Matsumaru

The only one in Shikoku! A station where you can take a dip in a bath

Rebuilt in October, 2002 (Heisei 14), Matsumaru station is an aboveground station with a side platform serving one track that was built to share a building with a town facility called the Matsuno Fureai Community Center. The first hot spring facility in Shikoku, the “Forest Country Poppo Hot Springs,” was built as an annex right next to the building. From the outside bathtub made from 100-year-old sake barrels you can watch the trains enter the station.
