Tosa-Taisho

The entrance to the Taisho-era historic town walk!

In front of the mountain cabin-like wooden building of one of the main stations of the Yodo Line stands a stone monument, commemorating the entire Yodo Line. Taisho station had its name changed when the village was renamed with the shift from the Meiji Period to the Taisho Period. The fixed-route bus company that serves the region, Shimanto Transport, sells tickets inside of the station building on consignment. The train platform is a raised island platform, and you must pass through an underground path to reach it.
